Pakistani Shia Scholars' Council Chief: Ayatollah Shobeiri Zanjani Was a Pillar of Qom Seminary, a Leading Figure of Contemporary Fiqh

Hawzah News Agency- In a message issued on the occasion, Naqvi expressed deep sorrow and regret over the loss, extending his condolences to Islamic seminaries and the scholarly and religious community of Shia Islam.

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

The painful news of the passing of the godly scholar, the jurist of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him), the distinguished hadith scholar and expert in the science of narrators, one of the outstanding scholarly figures of the Qom seminary and a grand authority of the Shia world, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Musa Shobeiri Zanjani, has caused deep sorrow and grief.

The late jurist was among the scholarly pillars of the Qom seminary and one of the most prominent figures of jurisprudence in the present era. He spent his blessed life in the pursuit and teaching of religious sciences, research, training students, and safeguarding the scholarly heritage of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

The depth of his knowledge and insight in matters of fiqh and usul, his skill and expertise in the science of rijal and hadith, his special attention to research and investigation, and his training of a generation of scholars and researchers were among the most prominent and brilliant aspects of the late jurist's scholarly life.

Undoubtedly, the passing of such a devout and noble scholar is not merely the loss of a scholarly figure, but a great loss for Islamic seminaries and the scholarly and religious community of Shia Islam. His valuable scholarly works, distinguished students, and precious scholarly legacy will remain a shining lamp illuminating the path of jurisprudence and research into the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

I offer my sincere condolences and condolences over this great tragedy to the presence of the Master of the Age (may God hasten his reappearance), the Leader of the Muslims, senior religious authorities, Islamic seminaries, the students and admirers of the deceased, and especially his honorable family and dear sons.

I ask God Almighty to envelop the soul of the late scholar in His mercy and forgiveness, elevate his ranks, and grant his survivors beautiful patience and great reward.
